Peg was born 5/1/2021.  Her nervous mother stepped on her hind leg and broke it within hours of her birth.  Heartbroken, we called the vet to put her down.  He said “She is young.  It is not on a growth plate and should heal.  Do you want to give it a try?”  We did!  It was not always pretty with sores from rubbing and soft cast changes but today you would not know that anything had ever happened.  It is all behind us now.  

Peg, (Peg leg) is by Sahlem’s Country Maker’s Mark and out of Miss Muffett, a Nobby daughter.  Her 2 colts have been very nice.
